General Description
Hunter's Country House is an exclusive family owned lodge set in the magnificent Garden Route of the Western Cape. This spacious original homestead is part of a 90-hectare estate. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and framed by the majestic mountains of Tsitsikamma, Hunter’s Country Lodge is a true retreat.

Located between Knysna and Plettenberg bay, Hunter’s Country House is a perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route.

Accommodation
Accommodation is in antique furnished, thatched cottages, each with fireplace and private patio.

There are 23 rooms and suites in total, each individually decorated and designed. All rooms have separate showers and baths, tea & coffee facilities, mini bars, TV’s and double basins.

Dining
The romantic and beautifully appointed candlelit dining room is the setting to enjoy superb cuisine prepared by a team of well known chefs.

A selection of estate wines is available from the cellar.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome. There is a children’s recreational area with a shallow swimming pool, TV and games room, jungle gym and thatch-covered sandpit. Children can be left in ‘Pumba’s Garden’ from 7.30 to 18.30 where they will be fully supervised.
