Guludo Beach Lodge
(Quirimbas Archipelago - Mozambique)
General Description
Guludo Camp offers a unique opportunity to experience fair trade tourism first hand. This eco-camp has been designed by award-winning architects and built with local approval using local materials, skills and labour.
Located on a 12km stretch of beach and surrounded by warm azure water, pure white sand, palm trees and coral fringed islands on the horizon, Guludo Camp is a wonderful island retreat, and one of the best eco-friendly resorts in the archipelago.
There is plenty on offer here for the active as well as those who just want relax. Game viewing is very good with predators, including leopard and lion, primates, several species of antelope and elephant in the nearby Quirimbas National Park.
Accommodation
9 large thatched tented bandas furnished with the bare essentials (but comfortable) - an en-suite bush shower behind a bamboo screen, and an enviro-loo, shared with one other tent.
