General Description
This comfortable lodge and guest house is situated within its own 4,000 acre nature reserve, overlooking the site of the battlefield of Isandlwana and the Oskarberg at Rorke's Drift.

The lounge and dining room at the main lodge is a veritable museum of artifacts, relics and memorabilia, housing numerous works of art pertaining to the Zulu War. Fugitives Drift is well known for its superb historical tours of the Battlefield sites and these are essential if you wish to enjoy the area to the full.

Fugitives Drift Guest House is an old farmhouse that has recently been altered and now forms a sitting and dining room. The original verandahs have been retained and the outside eating area has a stunning view across the plains with Isandlwana in the distance.

The diverse and abundant wildlife in the nature reserve includes giraffe, kudu, hartebeest, antelope and over 275 recorded bird species.

Accommodation
At Fugitives Drift Lodge there are 8 spacious luxury twin en-suite rooms. An annex cottage consists of 3 twin rooms, 2 bathrooms and a sitting room.

Fugitives Drift Guest House offers 6 luxury twin en-suite rooms.

Dining
Enjoy sundowners around a fire under a canopy of Paperbarks, with Isandlwana looming on the skyline. Superb cuisine, a unique fusion of home and modern flavours, is served in the renovated dining room.
