General Description
Sited in the cool Selous Highlands, not too far from the banks of the Rufiji River, Beho Beho is a true safari refuge, a luxurious base camp from where you can explore the splendours of one of the largest game preserves in the world, on foot, by boat or by open safari cruiser.

Beho Beho is furnished in the style of a private house, with comfortable seating and dining areas. Shaded and protected by a huge palm thatched roof, there is a full sized billiards table, the Eagle's nest for private dining and lots of cosy nooks. The open sided lounges and dining areas together with the cocktail bar and 'billiards room' provide a sophisticated setting for post safari relaxation and the swimming pool and deck are an ideal place to cool off.

‘Bush Nights’ are an optional extra available to all guests who stay for a minimum of four nights at Beho Beho. There are only two tents, suitably located for privacy along the edge of the Beho Beho sand river. Each tent, or bush gazebo, is mostly constructed from gauze to increase the bush feeling. They also have the added advantage of an en-suite shower and loo, and a double bed.

Accommodation
Beho Beho has 8 individual, spacious Bandas (stone built and palm thatched cottages), furnished with king-sized beds, Zanzibari day beds, writing desks and comfortable 'suite' furniture. The front of the banda is totally open and extends onto a spacious verandah. Each banda also has a separate dressing room leading into an en suite bathroom with twin basins, high flush WC and an open air shower.

Dining
Meals are not confined to the formal dining area. There are several lookouts where breakfast and lunch are served and of course areas for dining under the stars. Bush Breakfasts and picnics are also arranged for longer safaris.
