General description
Situated in the historic town of Graaff-Reinet, in the centre of the Karoo Midlands, Andries Stockenström is a gracious old manor house offering Karoo style haute cuisine and hospitality at its best. This private guest house is personally managed by owners Andre and Beatrice, and has won a number of awards for its excellent food and hospitality.

Graaff-Reinet has a great deal to offer travellers. Stroll streets filled with Cape Dutch and Victorian architectural treasures, of which more than 200 are now considered National Monuments. Visit the awesome Valley of Desolation and nearby nature reserve, or take a trip to the highly recommended Owlhouse at Nieu Bethesda. Graaff Reinet is only a short drive from the private game reserves of the Eastern Cape and a scenic drive over the Tsitsikamma mountains to the Garden Route. Alternatively, simply relax on the pool terrace or in the lounge.

Accommodation
Accommodation consists of six en-suite double rooms. Three mini-suites are situated around the pool and have their own patios, while the three Veranda Rooms are situated on the verandah with French doors opening out. All of the rooms are individually and beautifully furnished, and equipped with en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning.

Dining
Breakfast is served on the dining room terrace. Dinner is absolutely superb French-Karoo style haute cuisine served in the dining room.
